When you think of May Day, you might think of flowers and warm weather; cartoon figures running around the May pole (dragontales in my mind). It's supposed to be the beginning of summer and all things fun outside.
Well... not in Colorado.
It is full out snowing today. Not just flurries like last Saturday when I was garage sale-ing. This is serious, sticking on the ground, snow. Depressing! Even sadder when you think that all the trees that were in full beautiful blossom yesterday won't be the same when all this is done.
What a sad day!

That's the green belt where we play croquet (when there isn't snow on the ground!).
